Take a design tour of this lakeside home

In order to assist our clients in their efforts to build their dream home or realize a successful renovation/addition that adds value and comfort, we are pleased to welcome a professional designer, Rita Stoller, to our team. Rita was educated in Switzerland and over the past twenty years has developed experience and expertise well-suited to the style and needs of Canadian clients.

No matter how large or small, the project design is guided by the following principles:

• The new development should be integral with the environment and, in the case of additions/renovations, with the original structure. This includes, where possible, bringing the inside and outside together as a functional and aesthetic whole.
• The development should be practical for the climate. For Canadian conditions, it is especially important to consider all aspects of energy efficiency, including solar water heating, window and roofing technology, and insulation and heating systems.

1. Initial meeting with customer to define overall objectives, requirements, scope, financial constraints, location, and customer's vision.
2. Preparation of sketches of possible exterior and interior views with relative cost estimates.
3. Consideration of interior design and landscaping issues integral with the structural design.
4. Perparation of construction plans, sections, elevations, and details plus materials specification for customer review.
